The Arling… A Twist in Time… going back to simpler days

The Arling is a unique event space that combines past and present, bridging history and the making of new memories of today.

Elle Squared Weddings & Events along with our new timeless event venue The Arling together now offering packages for your special day. Owned and operated by Chuck and Lydia Perry Petersen, 13 years in the art of personalized planning and distinguished design. The Arling is an event venue that includes the original tobacco barn that has been remodeled along with a new addition including bathrooms, a private room or bridal room, and a caterer’s kitchen. Whether your style is modern, rustic, traditional, elegant or whatever your theme, we can do it.

Nestled on I-65 in Franklin, KY between Nashville, Tn and Bowling Green, KY, this rural picturesque setting overlooking the beautiful 4th and 5th holes of Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course along with ponds, Drakes Creek, and Sharps Branch has amazing photo opportunities. Hotels and restaurants are just around the corner.

We also have golf packages available for those who love to golf.

The Arling has been architecturally designed with a wooden dance floor, state of the art lighting, chandeliers, market street interior and exterior lights, and all with keeping of the vintage tobacco interior framing. The grounds include fencing, an iron arbor for outdoor ceremonies, a path through nature, and a courtyard with a fire pit.
For larger events we also have an area for tenting. Ceremonies and receptions up to 274 people inside are allowed for our packages. If an outdoor ceremony is planned and the weather does not cooperate we can move your ceremony inside the barn. We are handicap accessible.

The Arling, named after our Grandfather, Arling McKinley Perry, is a tobacco barn that has been remodeled into an event venue.

A twist in time, The Arling, owned by Chuck and Lydia Petersen is dedicated in honor of Kenneth W. Perry, (Dad) and our children and grandchildren, Marty, Ashley, Cole, & Owen (Sharer) and Kim, Craig, Maeve, & Brynn (Kennedy). Kim is our amazing architect, Bootstrap Architecture + Construction. The Arling is dedicated in memory of Mom, Mildred Jean Perry, my sister Kay, my grandfather, Arling aka Pa, AM Perry, our daughter, Kerry, our grandparents, Chuck’s parents Rudy and Dora Petersen, our friends and family and Carson Forshee, original owner. Special thanks to my brother Kenny for allowing me to pursue my passionate dream.
